I have finally experimented with the pass through. It works much better than I imagined.
Yeah, sort of like poking your toe into the pool. Works out better once you jump in.
If you are into making seasonal plagues plaque to hang on your door, here is one way without gluing the base sections together (or glue two 16" together - not judging, heh).
Those look great! I love how intricate they are. Really shows off the passthrough capabilities.
I have only used it a couple of times so far. still working on the design for one of the main projects that will use it.
Love seeing this, I have several thing designed and was worried about doing that, now you have me inspired to jump in!
It is a great feature! These turned out great!
Longest I’ve done is just under 4’, but it was an an engrave and cut, and there is (still) an issue where the first pass on the next step does not engrave. Laser simply does not fire. Cuts are fine, but engraves end up with a missing line. This was reported and acknowledged years ago. I had to fill in with a pencil.
Cannot even blame the keyboard since Q and G are far apart.
Covid. That’s the booger. I blame covid.
These look great!
