I decided to play around with layering cutouts to make a scene. The ornament has 4 layers and the moon (it is on the final layer behind the witch. Sorry, it is hard to see.) and letters are filled in with glow in the dark paint to give it a “spooky” vibe. I used medium draftboard to make the ornament and I used Inkscape to design it.
