Inspired by the 3D concept of @josephtpage and @geek2nurse , I finally figured out what to give my aunt and uncle!
Their church has a pretty cool and unique altar, and there are fortunately a lot of high res photos on the web that allowed me to replicate in Illustrator.

The walnut contrasted with the acrylic (assuming that’s what the white is) is really striking. The detail work in the design and that texture in the walnut is incredible.
