Using a “puck” style LED to illuminate a lantern for my daughter who’s away at BCT. They eat batteries, so I made this simple adapter and cut the end off an old USB charger to power it. Should be self explanatory. Wrap the wires around the ends after threading thru the large holes. Hot glue to secure. Make sure you get the polarity correct.
Nothing fancy, just another practical use of the machine to solve a problem.
Nice improvement.
First thing I ever tore apart was an alarm clock, at around 6years old. Of course, it didn’t go back together again, but that was my introduction to the world of mechanics. I’ve been eviscerating stuff ever since. Nothing broken that I don’t understand leaves here as an assembly.
