Hello Everybody here a big design i did on the glowforge, 48 x 7.5 " . Took a long time for been my second time. I hope I get the update for the beta pro fedder that came out a coupleof weeks ago. It will make the next one much easier.

This one was done on plain plywood setting HD engraving. The trick is making the original image gray scale a couple of times

This is the Gray scale image. The lighter the better. The glowforge is very sensitive when it comes to dark colors.

Gray scale. Are you using photoshop. Sorry this is something thats i been trying to figure out

No worries, I use Inkscape, its a free program almost as good as photoshop. Super easy to use, lots of YouTube tutorials on how to use it

Found it. Thanks. Someone told me to paint the wood before i engrave it. Have you tried that?

Sorry not Inkscape, I meant GIMP , it’s also free. Then go to filters , artistic , photocopy and play with the settings there
