Interesting, I was trying to use the denatured the same way I was using dish soap and water: apply and scrub. I wasn’t aware it could just be a soak. Either way next go around definitely looking forward to the the sanitizer.

I wonder if blasting it with walnut shells will do the trick without ruining the design

Wow, fantastic indeed!
I’ve never tried a 3D engraving, yet, with my Pro. Did you remove the proofgrade label/protection in advance? I will then try with the sanitizing gel solution…

Good question, and yes, for 3D engraves I seem to get better results by removing the masking from the engrave area first.

I generally find any sort of decorative engrave does better with the masking removed first. I pretty much only leave it if I’m engraving very simple shapes.
