50 Year Old Models / Train Set

Perfect description.

I even see a shot tower in there and your treehouse!

And it certainly looks like it fits the mold.
Making that project without a laser? Not sure I would have even tried.

I have run out of superlatives to describe your talents and artwork so I’ll just say “WE’RE NOT WORTHY!!!”

Teach us Master that we may one day be worthy to stand in your shadow.

Thank you for doing this. That America will live on in models and memories. That is why modelers do what they do.

I love your normal posts but seeing what you’ve made with it all together is completely mindblowing, and very touching as well. I really feel for the poor dray horses on that incline!

It’s on a 4’ x 8’ sheet of plywood. So 32 sq. ft. right?

This is just amazing. This could be in a museum. I can’t begin to imagine all the hours it took to make this masterpiece. Well done!

Train accessories might be my favourite use of the Glowforge. My son and I are working on a small scene that will have laser cut buildings etc (I’m designing them now).

Your layout is lovely, very American and it’s so packed with detail I could look forever.
