Another requested animal to go along with my multiple creations.
This Bison was created to a height of 6.1" and width of 10". I made this one with maple, walnut, mahogany and cherry plywood. This one is very easy to cut if you were a bit afraid of the larger designs I have.
Both 1/4" and 1/8" wood designs are included in this purchase. Only difference between the 2 is the size of holes in the base.
I was actually quite proud of myself on this one…I only had to re-cut 1 layer after a slight edit.
The bird (I’m presuming woodpecker but could be cattle egret) is
You have nailed the layered projects down! Looks awesome!
Not just a woodpecker but a Pileated Woodpecker!
Another homerun layered piece! Keep 'em coming!
3 more layers and you’ll have a bison-tennial.
I didn’t understand it at first until I read it out loud to my wife.
Wow! Amazing and so beautiful!
Truly wonderful! How long does it take you to design these?
That turned out amazing! Great job!
Originally it was about a solid 15 hours, but I was still learning the software at the same time.
Now, depending on the complexity of the design and the corrections that my wife suggests , I can have the first cut completed in about 5-10 hours.
I’ve got 2 (horse and pheasant) that I’ve finished designing but I’m away from my forge for quite a bit longer. So no cutting for testing or pictures.
when you make a seven layer cake… let me know!
They are so good! Worth the time invested.
Always love seeing your new designs!!
