7 layer Bison

Another requested animal to go along with my multiple creations.
This Bison was created to a height of 6.1" and width of 10". I made this one with maple, walnut, mahogany and cherry plywood. This one is very easy to cut if you were a bit afraid of the larger designs I have.
Both 1/4" and 1/8" wood designs are included in this purchase. Only difference between the 2 is the size of holes in the base.

I was actually quite proud of myself on this one…I only had to re-cut 1 layer after a slight edit.

Enjoy.

The bird (I’m presuming woodpecker but could be cattle egret) is :kissing_heart:

Truly wonderful! How long does it take you to design these?

Originally it was about a solid 15 hours, but I was still learning the software at the same time.

Now, depending on the complexity of the design and the corrections that my wife suggests :grinning:, I can have the first cut completed in about 5-10 hours.

I’ve got 2 (horse and pheasant) that I’ve finished designing but I’m away from my forge for quite a bit longer. So no cutting for testing or pictures.
