87 Scout Medallions

I’m going to scout camp with 3 of my kids this weekend (I’m going as the cook). There will be around 85 people there.

It’s the first time this particular scout group has a camp with all the scout levels at the same time (beavers, cubs, scouts and pioneers). It’s the groups 10th year anniversary.

As a special gifts for each scout they asked me to make them all medallions. Here is a picture of all 87 (with a few spares in the box):

Here is a closeup:

They are the “62e Phare Est” group (62nd East Lighthouse). They wanted their name on the medallions, and something that says “10 years of scouting”.

I finished them right on time, we leave tomorrow.

I love how the numbers connect to the beam from the lighthouse! Great work! Gives me ideas…

nicely done. how long did each one take?

It took one hour to cut/engrave 7 medallions. Then it took about 2-3 minutes per medallion to weed it, sand it and glue it.

So overall there was a lot of work involved.
