If you use this method with cardboard:
You have to be careful the acrylic glue (SciGrip) doesn’t seep out and make contact with the cardboard - it will become part of the weld. If you’re careful you can clean it up without damaging the sign (it’s just wee tiny strips, not big chunks.) Especially if it is just for your sister so delivery people get the right apartment.
