The easiest and first thing is the ability to cut material bigger than a Glowforge. I get wood at 18" x 24 or cut 4’ x 8’ into 5 - 19" x 48" pieces using more of the total with less scrap like with two “L” shaped pieces less that 11" tall for one but perhaps 16" for the two with them nested together. I do this far more than making pieces longer than 20".
