I noticed on the last piece I made that the adhesive pattern actually showed up thru the white acrylic. My question is this, what are you using to attach acrylic to draftboard ?

Hey guys! Looking for a glue that would look good for gluing clear acrylic onto wood? Something clear. I’ve been racking my brain for this project!

im making a heart, but im using acrylic and wood. the wood would be in the middle and there would be a acrylic on both ends. my question is how can i stick these 3 peices together, without making it look messy with glue or residue. someone mentioned wood screws? anyone have any experince or done a project and can suggest few pointers?

A heavy duty double sided tape like 3M VHB might do the trick. It also comes in sheets.

They’ll all show through in some capacity - what you need to focus on is having the join be even so it looks shaded rather than wiggly lines or whatever. Tape makes that easiest since you can cut it to the exact shape, but it’s doable with the glues mentioned as well with some patience.
