Made a Navy rank from medium proof grade Black acrylic and poured colored resin in the engraved portions. I think next time I will use the thick acrylic . Here are the final pieces.

I was the same way and I just jumped in and tried it.

I’m a pen maker and cast my own designs either with resins and or wood Hybrids. I can’t wait to get my machine this month. This is a class design and a great tribute to our military… I like it !!!
