Airship Lamps - four in the set!

I am really excited at how these lamps turned out! they are cut out of medium maple plywood using my original designs. I did have to tweak and re-cut a few times, but I got there in the end .

They use a battery-operated string of fairy lights with the controller hidden in the name tag.

They are designed to slot together, but I did also glue them to make them solid.

The one with sails, I laser cut cotton fabric and then sewed them into position. I used silicone glue around the edges of the fabric to weld them in place (where they will be used is windy and I didn’t want the sails ripping).

I love the design!

Though … given the faerie lights, I am tempted to call it a LED zeppelin…
