Has anyone experienced a loud beeping from the Glowforge that sounds very similar to a house smoke detector? Not sure how to proceed.

I have never heard anything like that. What was the Glowforge doing when the sound started?

I started a tile engrave and immediately the alarm sounded. At first I thought it was the smoke detector on the ceiling above my Glowforge, but it was not. I tried again, and the same sound started when I started the machine

When the air filter is full, it beeps. Do you have the filter?

I do not have an external filter.

When did you buy your machine? Only the very earliest pre-production machines had a speaker.
