Align X axis with camera

I searched a little in other posts but didn’t find a solution.

The X axis of my unit is always off from the camera view. There is a small problem with the Y axis.

One pic is a screen shot from my PC. The other is a photo of the actual cut. My projects always end up about 1/4" off. I thought I could make a shim to fake the head into homing 1/4" to the right. There does not seem to be a limit switch for home like my 3D printer uses. If worse comes to worse I guess I could start my projects aligned on the right of the material and move left, or make a shim to put on the material that is the width I need to compensate for.

Maybe I am just too picky with putting the cuts right on the edge of the material.

Thanks

Have you tried running the camera calibration?

that box is not flat. you may have issues with getting proper alignment if your material isn’t flat.

Thanks for the answer @eflyguy, that’s right. I’m going to close this thread - if the problem reoccurs, go ahead and post a new topic. Thanks for letting us know about this!
