My glowforge is cutting at least half an inch higher than the preview shows. It’s causing me to waste wood. Why is it off?
Did you run the calibration process? What was the result?

Can you share a screenshot? Do you understand that the interface shows the usable area of a board, not the entire piece of 12 x 20 material? Are you useing the set focus tool? Are you orienting your artwork relative to the lower right corner of the bed?

Is it possible the head got bumped or moved since you last turned it off/on?
If so, turn it off, gently move the head to the upper left home position and turn it back on letting it go through the centering peocess.
Of that still doesn’t fix it then run the calibration process.
