Alignment issue 3/28/2020

Just turned my glowforge on and I’m guessing it did updates.

When I put my object where I want it, click print, the head does its thing, then when it goes back to home and calculates, the image of the bed refreshes, and where I put my object is no longer where I put it.

It’s way off. What gives? I’ve rebooted a bunch of times.

Try using Set Focus in the area where you want to place your object, THEN put it exactly where you want it.

If you don’t use the set focus tool, the machine does an auto-focus before printing, and if your entered material height is off, the correction after the measurement will make it look different.

Set focus lets you determine where the best accuracy of the fisheye lens correction will be centered, so that your placement is as close as possible to what you see on the screen.
