Alignment issue - any help would be appreciated

I am having an alignment issue. It seems all the belts and wheels seem in good shape. I haven’t done an exhaustive cleaning in a bit but this problem happened all of a sudden. Wondering if the community has any suggestions. I have a pro since 2020.

Could the file be corrupted somehow?

it sure seems like something is getting lost between the upload, and the processing.

I’ve made 30 of them with this file. So not likely. I can re upload it and see.

I hope that works. because it sure doesn’t seem like a hardware problem. it is more like a whack upside the glowforge’s brains problem.

Was there anything in the Glowforge that the head could have struck? Once a job starts it run on dead reckoning, so if the head strikes something that keeps it from moving as planned, then everything will be off by that much for the rest of the job. (At that point you’re best off turning it off and on again.)

Any chance the printhead was moved with the machine on?

As best I can tell the geometry cut correctly. Then two pieces of text cut and had the text cut at an angle. After that, the rest of the text cut what would have been correct, but was off by the slippage of those pieces of text. If the head is making short hard jumps, it can create the angled text that was showing. It might have been slipping on a bit of crud and quit when it moved on. It is very hard to tell with an intermittent problem. I would try a bit lower power and lower speed when using score with small text. It obviously would not take a lot.

It seems, without further effort, the uploading of a new file produced better results. Thanks everyone for their suggestions. Such a smart and kind group.
