The power light is amber and I’ve checked the ribbon and it is connected properly and it hasn’t been used for a while and is in a cool location- not too hot or cold. No direct sunlight on unit.
What else can be causing this?
Amber/orange is kind of the default “I can’t communicate” light, so it can be a lot of things.
Great that the cable is connected.
Are there any worn spots/cracks along its length?
Where it connects are all of the gold teeth clean and bouncing back if you press them lightly?
It’s worthwhile to reach out to actual Support as well as posting here. You can reach them by phone/email/Discord (click on Support in the top menu and it’ll give you their contact info).
They can look at the logs of your machine and see if it gives them any more specific info.
