I’ve searched the threads and found settings for etching anodized aluminum tags. So, that worked perfectly! However, I did it with and then without masking. They both pretty much turned out the same except the masked one looked a little bit lighter due to the masking. My question is…The reflective surface of the anodized aluminum is not doing any damage to the laser is it? The only advantage I can see to using mask is that the focus height is easier to set.
