Fiber Optics. All the best high power lasers are fiber optics.
I mean fundamentally, the arms are fixed straight lines with very predictable geometry, you should be able to rig up mirrors to handle it. I mean if you’ve done the math to convert two radial motions of jointed arms into x-y coordinates, the math for the mirror angles ought to just flop right out of that.
