Has anyone tried engraving or cutting on slices of antler? I have the Aura, and was thinking of doing earrings, but don’t want to start a fire or hurt my machine

If you enter the search term “antler” in the search bar you will find some threads regarding antler/horn. Most of them relate to the performance printers rather than the Aura, but the engrave discussions may be helpful.

It will be VERY smelly so make sure your ventilation system is in good shape before you try it.

^^^^ THIS! When engraving or scoring horn it’s absolutely necessary to have good venting to the outdoors! Horn and bone both generate the most noxious odors of anything I’ve ever tried.
