Not worked with leather a great deal, but happy with how the cover for this axe came out. Axe itself was a restoration project - a gift to my Dad on his birthday. Original was all rusty, so polished the axe head and made a new handle in walnut, cur and shaped by hand. Cover was cut by the GF.
Woodpecker is a kind of family emblem we’ve used for years, etched onto the leather with the GF.
