My stab at a backgammon board, themed after the Liittle Painted Desert in Northern Az. Did all the design.
Beautifully executed!
Yeah, seconded. Really nice work. As always I would be super interested to hear more about your process.
The theme is well integrated, nicely done.
Nicest backgammon game ever. Very nicely done. A special treasure to be sure.
You did a wonderful job showcasing the theme. It’s a beautiful piece. Thanks for sharing.
This turned out beautiful!
The motif is inspired — great job!
Wow, the inlay is super nice!
This is a phenomenal design! Great work! Thank you very much for sharing it with us.
Gorgeous! Everything about this is done so well ![]()
Beautiful. What a treasure!
Wow!! This is one of my fav projects I’ve seen in a while! Gorgeous! Well-done.
That is wonderful! Makes me want to brush off my backgammon skills.
Gorgeous. Well done.
That is a very nice board! How does it close? One side is always the top?
Wow that is terrific. you have to be super happy with it!
Hi, you just lay the side without chips on top of the other, and the strong magnets grab and bring them together. It doesn’t matter which side is on top, as the chip trays are just deep enough to allow the boards to close and not allow the chips to fall out of the bays.
Really lovely! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Hey, I want to say thanks to everyone for the positive feedback. I have had my Glowforge Pro since 2021. I had absolutely no training or experience in lasers or design software; my kids talked me into this. But I really found a great hobby and have created and learned beyond what I could imagine. I have always been reluctant to post projects, just felt mine were never on a level that you see throughout the chat here! but after this experience, I will post more. Thanks for the comments and feedback!
