Doing my best to run some prints, it got stuck on centering, so I turned the machine off, but it just won’t turn on, all I hear is a sound like a bi-metallic spring from somewhere around the power supply area.
Any help would be appreciated.

When you say “on” do mean the lights don’t turn on and nothing moves - or it won’t go online?
Hi deirdrebeth,
Absolutely nothing happens, the machine doesn’t even turn on. Support have replied so hopefully the log might help.

Sigh. Fingers crossed. I was hoping the metallic noise you were describing was the head moving and not finding internet, because that is an easier fix!
Prepare yourself for it being your main power supply and being offered a refurb. That’s not, generally, a user replaceable part - though some mechanically engineered types have done it.
There’s also a licensed repair facility now that’s an option if time is not if the essence.
