Welcome to the forum @lmorr9114! You can find lots of designs people have shared in the Free Design section. Please do note these are all for personal use only. You can find more online on other sites and you can also buy some interesting designs on Etsy. More fun though would be to learn to make your own. Plenty of resources here too
Enjoy your Glowforge!
Super cute!
Have you done any other Bee projects? My father-in-law started up a bee colony last year⌠they are going to be building a house out in the country and Iâve been trying to think of other things I could make. He is in to bees and she is into cowsâŚ
How about a Cowbee roundup
That is hilarious I only wish I could draw something like thatâŚoh I so wish I could draw! I have the vision in my headâŚmaybe I should go watch that TED talk that is on my list that says âeveryone can drawââŚthink itâs baloneyâŚbut it just might be worth it to try.
Think South Park! All that is made of parts put together and moved about. You can find many parts from all over and then put them together in Inkscape copied and moved about to make unlimited images.
very clever.
I wanted to keep bees. however my wife is absolutely terrified of anything that flies or stings. which of course she somehow managed to pass along to our daughters. and I have the yard for it now too.
This might get you started on the path to drawing - start with a pre-done one and edit it until it looks like the vision in your head
I raised them for years while the kids were growing up. Every year I did a custom label for the honey I harvested. One year it was my wife running across the yard with a swarm of bees in her hair
They didnât sting but they liked the outfit she was wearing.
The first yearâs label was a drawing of her half sprawled in a USPS mail bin (one of the big 4foot canvas things on wheels). My first bees came via the mail and the post office made her go out on the loading doc and get the boxes herself - no one would help because they were worried the bees would escape the boxes
The bees used to hang out by the pool for water which would disconcert the neighbor kids until they were here for awhile and got used to the bees (Buckfast) - the bees were very gentle.
oh man. we have a pool so that would send the Mommy into complete meltdown mode.
when I was little in PA, 2 doors down was Mr. Tolenius. he had bees and would show me about them very cool.
