why does my designs keep being looked at as a bitmap even though i have set strokes

If you upload the file here i can take a look at it for you to see whats going on

DBS2Group.pdf (586.8 KB)

DBS2Group.pdf (586.8 KB)
did you get it

Got it now didn’t see the first post. Looks like it is a bitmap if you zoom in you can see it is pixelated. What design program did you use to make this? to me it looks like you may have built it then exported an image of the screen.

I designed in silhouette them saved pdf then opened on photoshop

Sry I’m not familiar with using those programs, but the issue is with your file. something along the line has changed your vectors into an image.

once you open in photoshop, it’s all bitmap.

I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve hit this snag! As the community has suggested, it appears the trouble you are experiencing is likely related to how the file was exported and saved. While we do not have specific instructions for saving a plain SVG in photoshop, we do provide some instructions for saving in Illustrator and Inkscape here

I hope this information helps! Please let me know if you run into the same behavior after working through these instructions.

May I ask why you are opening it up in photoshop once you had it saved as a PDF? (The GF can read PDFs and you’d normally only need to bring it into photoshop if it was a bitmap needing editing.)
