Very strange… I made three runs with the exact same pattern. The first run (yellow) was randomly missing a lot of the cuts. The second and third runs (blue) were fine.
The cut wasn’t distorted or weak. The missing parts were just missing. I didn’t edit the pattern between runs, except to move the pattern to center it on the page.
(In case you’re wondering, this is my test pattern for precise right-angle alignment of the laser arm. You print it twice, then flip one of them vertically, and see if you can make them match exactly.)
I’d guess the yellow paper had more moisture in it, causing it to curl up (more) after a few short bursts of heat and rise above the focus point too much… I’ve watched my paper cuts warp up and get wavy while cutting, but rest back to mostly flat when done. Your cuts look really thin and clean, compared to mine, and I’m pretty sure I use way more power than necessary. Or mabey not in some cases.
