Three weeks ago, I broke my arm (dominant hand, even), and then a week later my Glowforge arrived. Talk about frustration, and not how I wanted to start the school year. A student’s suggestion to glue a shark’s fin to my cast got me thinking…so I created and cut some fins to velcro to my arm.
So far it has been a big hit with my K-5 graders, they’re very excited to use the GF with me, and I had a real project to work on which helped me get past the learning curve on Inkscape. (need to make eyes next.)
So looking forward to all the exciting things I’ll be able to do when I’m back to ambidexterity!
