I was trouble shooting for it being stuck on “scanning”.
I followed the video and took the black clips out on the bottom lid on each side and reattached- turned on and only one side of the lights was working so I touched the other clip and there was a small orange spark with a smell of burnt by the lower clip.
The white part there is a small circuit board that has no doubt shorted out. I’m not sure if that is something you can get and change out yourself. You will have to contact customer support and hear what they have to say on the matter.
There’s no situation in which you come out ahead by not getting it fixed, warranty or no. The repair or replacement cost will be a fraction of what the machine is worth once it’s fixed.
