Reminds me of the Butterfly Show at the Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati. They ship like 12,000 butterflies chrysalises in and the metamorphosis occurs over a period of time. They then fly freely throughout the building. It’s a wonderful visit with out butterflies, but truly spectacular with them. They catch them and ship them home after. Think they have shipped from Ecuador and Bali.
Love these. Reminds me of a project I did with kids at a community fair. The kids painted the bottom layer any color or design and when I glued the top layer every butterfly was unique and amazing. I wish I had pictures.

Using the GF to cut out the “cells” on the wings and then either fill it in with colored epoxy or do your awesome underlayment is so much fun!
