I had no idea there was such a thing. I have been waiting for inventables to get some quarter inch hardwood to make some coasters for my mom. So I tried amazon and found butternut wood. Wow. So light.

Interesting wood, and I also like your fish!
Butternut is a great wood. Lots of the carved high altars in churches were made from it. Nice work.
