Button turned orange

I turned my glowforge pro on and did a test run of 3 min, it’s been on for an hour not doing anything and I went to do a second run and the button turned orange. I turned the machine off to let it cool down but I wasn’t doing anything so I’m not sure why It would have been over heating. It’s well vented in about 70f ac garage.

On another note,
When I turn the glowforge on the fan starts at full power with an in-line fan attached.

Check if the white ribbon cable has come loose or fallen out of your print head. If it’s disconnected, the button will stay orange until it’s reconnected.

I’m sorry to hear your button has turned orange. Can please post the photo we will review them and follow up with next steps
