Each change of position in the head is relayed to the server via camera image, and additional movement instructions are sent back - and that dance continues until that fat lady sings. Any problem with that communication renders the machine unable to complete calibration.
How far into the routine does it go, in terms of head position? Beyond eliminating connectivity issues and bright lighting, I don’t have a clue.
