Camera comes in handy on intricate leather cuts

Found the camera to be invaluable when i decided to cut out a detailed piece of leather. I needed to use lots of magnets to hold the leather down so it wouldn’t blow in the fan, or curl up and get in the way of the beam. Without the camera and the ability to position magnets, view the pattern on the bed, and reposition things, this would have been tricky, if not impossible.

Well done. Pretty piece of leather too. I have found the camera also comes in handy by being able to size projects onto small or odd sized pieces that might otherwise not be used. :sunglasses:

I’m just impressed by how spot-on your alignment is!

I bet you get really anxious when the laser is cutting close to the magnets. Been there and done that.
