Camera did not take picture...sporadic...again

In June I was getting the error message “didn’t take a picture” sporadically. I changed out the black cable and we were up and running. 2 months later, after very minimal use, I am getting the error message again. The cable is brand new. I’ve checked the connections. I am not opening the lid fully or with force that would cause strain on the cable. Why is this happening?

It could be the camera cable. I suggest contacting Glowforge. Perhaps checking the machine logs would enable them to diagnose the issue.
