My image on my screen will not update, it says it’s offline, and before this was engraving all wonky… also getting the error screen… this is a replacement that was sent because my original broke during warranty period… I am so disappointed in glowforge. I have an expensive paperweight again and customers orders not able to be filled.
Have you tried resetting up the wifi? Have you tried using your phone as a hotspot to connect to the Glowforge servers? As for the wonky engraves, you must clean the rails and magnet posts quite often.
I’ve cleaned the rails and magnets after each use. Tried to reset the WiFi on it multiple times. I shut down my laptop, glowforge, router, modem for 5 minutes at the same time and restarted. I haven’t tried to use my phone as a hotspot but will try that today! Thank you! Hopefully that will work.
I have successfully connected it to my hotspot on my phone. It is still doing what it’s been doing. It’s also now got a box that pops up bottom right of my laptop screen saying the camera wasn’t able to take a picture. The top right just says scanning with the arrow continually spinning… this is almost the exact same thing as why my other one had to be replaced. This is ridiculous and every single time I call glowforge a recording comes on that no one’s available to take my call…
Since its new, be sure the white ribbon is fully seated!
