It’s expensive for such a tiny tube, but a little goes a LONG way. I use a tight-knit cotton rag and often don’t add more to it, there’s enough on it to add to small parts. I probably added a dab less than the size of a match head onto the rag to do those cut parts.
I used scrap hardboard which has a very smooth finish, like acryic. If you apply it to wood with some grain texture, the effect is much nicer.
