Can I use this?

Hi everyone, newbie here. I was given this plywood but I can’t find if i can use it in my gf spark. Can someone give guidance? Thanks!

Cheap underlayment plywood is often bonded with an extremely tough adhesive which resists cutting. It often also contains voids and other blemishes between the visible veneer layers.

Many of us made the mistake of trying to source cheap materials, I tried Luan once, which is one of the product this is meant to replace. It was awful.

As you already have it, it won’t hurt to try it – it won’t damage the machine.

I use Revolution Plywood in my pro all the time, when the type of wood is unimportant. It is mostly basswood or poplar so among the easiest kind of wood to cut. There is usually a line of glue going vertically across the grain but you can look on that side and know the line is straight to the other side or often I just cut it with a razor.
It is 3/16" thick, so heavy for the craft lasers but as it is among the easiest to cut you should be able to bost the power, or slow the speed.
The top layer is extremely thin and the other layer is absent so engraving that wood is not recommended as the results look terriblle.
