Can you print over proofgrade label

can you print over the proofgrade label?

In general, no.

I put proofgrade material in upside down, and select it from the menu.

If I print something smaller that doesn’t overlap the stupid labels, I might put it in with the label showing. It only takes 2 seconds to select the material from the menu, and the newer labels are just absurdly over-sized.

I have done it many times, though it’s not ideal. It could affect the focus and/or the depth of cut.

If you have the masking from a previous piece you can drag with sticky part down from the corner of the label opposite the corner of the board towards that corner. The sticky part of those labels and of the masking will stick to itself far stronger than anything else, so what you are trying to do is get the barest curl at the corner as that will stick hard to the masking you are dragging across it. Keep the force gentle but constant and you will pull the label off of the masking. Too hard and you will just tear off that bit,

BTW- this is an easy solution to your worst weeding nightmares.
