Can't get the cut option to show on a design

I’m trying to crank out parts for a school play and all of a sudden when I load a design I don’t get a cut option, just engrave and ignore…
help. i’ve quit and reloaded my browser, tried a different computer.

A cut requires a vector line. Sounds like you have a bitmap/raster design instead. If you’d care to upload your file here, we can take a look at it for you.

Thanks all for indulging me. My second example of “user error” this week. I traced the shape but forgot to highlight it before hitting place artwork! Love the quick response Xabbess, thanks.
