Hi I am trying to import a sign from Canva. It’s just a text name, but when I import it, I can tell it won’t all cut in 1 piece. The letters don’t seem to be “welded” after importing. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Were they welded in Canva prior to uploading? Perhaps double check and try again. I am not familiar with that software. You can consider sharing the file and someone may be able to get it fixed in a different graphic program.
I use Canva but I need a few more details. Did you create the project yourself? How did you save the project?
