Just received my glow forge today and after realizing it wasn’t cutting through proof grade material, upon further inspection I noticed my laser window is chipped. I’m so sad, I already submitted a support request just wondering if this happened to anyone else??

wow. that might have been due to a flaw in the glass at manufacture.

Glowforge should send you a new side window and things will probably work fine once you get it. I know you are disappointed, but they will make it right.

That’s such a bummer. Hopefully you’ll get a new one soon! Then you can start creating!! Welcome to the community!

Looks like the wrench that tightened the lens into your glowforge chipped the lens.
