Made these ornaments last year but forgot to post a picture. Basically represent home states for myself, my wife, and our daughter. Ended up making extras for other family members.

Agreed. You might want to use a lighter colored wood (maple or basswood) so the engrave stands out. How thick are these?

I played around with a couple different stains to bring out the grain. Pictures probably look a little darker than actual.
