Part 1 prints very well but part 2 which is the backer for the ornament prints larger than the top piece. I reset the design but it still comes up with the same size backer.

There is a place to report designs that are not printing correctly. At the very bottom of the catalog page, click the “Report this Design” tab and submit your report regarding the sizing error.

I concur - the front is 4x4.324" and the back is 5.333x5.765" - that’s a pretty big difference!
So definitely go to: Christmas 2023 Family Traditions Ornament – Glowforge Shop and report the issue, but in the meantime you can select the backer piece and make the first measurement 4" and it’ll fix the whole thing to the correct size

I believe the part with the hole to hang the ornament is the cause, you actually have 2 different sizes of round shapes. A quick fix would be to find the with of the one with the hanger and use that for the with and height of the circle.

Yes, you could choose to enlarge the front rather than shrink the back - it will work either way, but the back is definitely a much faster cut!
