Coaster Box with knob

I thought I’d share my design for a coaster box with a knob. The top is double layered so it fits in the box. The knob was created using two large disks, one has a 1/8" square hole. A 1/8"x1/2" peg is in the glued hole which allowed me to build the knob and attach it to the box lid. First effort.

A great start! You might find that some sandpaper knocking off the edges of the knob could look better the more you do. :grin:

Or a tiny bit of the design (in this case maybe the tree) on the knob to identify what’s inside :smiley:

Believe it or not the first attempt had a Family Tree logo on the knob! I’m working on a decorative version on the box.
