Never knew there was such a thing as the Coptic stitch, but makes sense given the history of the Great Library of Alexandria.
Still waiting on my GF… almost 3 years now, a real test of patience!

Yes, as far as I understand, the technique used today is (supposedly) the same as the one used centuries ago. I don’t have any original texts for comparison, but it is a neat binding. I find it very relaxing to do.
