Cut not engrave

6223 for Matt Panel-1 (2)

I have this .svg file but I need to cut it and I’m only able to engrave it. What do I need to do to remedy this?

Unfortunately, no image appeared. However, I think I know what the problem is. Your graphic may be a raster image instead of a vector. Raster images can only be engraved, not cut.

I can’t see the file, but usually that happens when your image is a bitmap (jpg, png, gif, etc.) rather than a vector file. Only vectors can be cut; bitmaps can only be engraved.

(SVG is a container format that can contain both vector and bitmap images.)

My suggestion, if you really want that image, is to draw it as a vector in an appropriate software package. (I use A. Illustrator)
