How do i get my own templates to cut or score - its always blanked out thank you

Your designs must have vector lines to cut/score. Have you worked through the Glowforge tutorials?

Welcome to the forums. In order for your templates to cut or score they must be made into a vector image and assigned as a stroke. If you have not done so yet, I would recommend looking through the tutorials.

hi there
no ive not seen the turorials - all ive been doing so far is just SD engraving onto coasters
ive had the glowforge pro for 4 months now

There are good reasons why the last step in setting up the machine directs you to the tutorials.
